We've also closed our online reservation system. There is still plenty of space, however. If you still want to come, but have not signed up, we recommend contacting us first, and then just show up between 2 and 4 on Saturday with exact change. There are two levels of access:

  • overnight - $25
  • evening only - $15

Bunk with us at a lodge by a reservoir in the Appalachians:
Penn State-operated Stone Valley Recreation Area.

Experience an evening of great music, food, and friendship.
Your $25 will cover some costs, and pay our musicians.

Sound Experiments
10-minute acoustic/battery-powered collaborations. Sign up to participate, and be grouped randomly with others. Participants will be notified of their partners 1 month prior (sign up deadline now extended to August 20).

Visual Delights
Various artists will present their imagery during and around the music. There will also be some films projected.

Outdoor Activities
Stone Valley has many things to see and do. There are miles of nearby trails, many kinds of boats to rent, and a nature/raptor center . A naturally-occurring bacteria in the water prevents swimming and prohibits pets. The lodge itself has horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, a fire ring, and a boat dock.

Food & Libations
A simple, hot, vegetarian dinner (stew/chili), and breakfast will be provided. Please consider bringing a dish to share--the facility has a large commercial kitchen, and a charcoal grill. There will also be fresh, local beer (for those of legal age). You will need to bring your own cooking/eating/drinking tools & vessels.

Lodging
A single bunk bed in a rustic cabin (sleeping 8--bathhouse nearby) is provided. BYOS (sheets, etc.)

Tents are NOT ALLOWED at the site of the event.
